
What is Tartu 3vs3 HOCKEY CUP?
In the year 2024, the tournament was specifically created for amateur hockey players of varying levels of hockey skill and age. Main objectives of the tournament:
Promoting hockey among amateurs: We strive to make hockey accessible to everyone, fostering interest in the sport across all age groups and among players of varying skill levels.
Building a community: We bring together amateur hockey players from different regions and countries, creating a platform for communication, experience sharing, and positive energy.
Popularisation a healthy lifestyle: Hockey is not just a game but also a step towards better health and an active lifestyle. Our tournaments help participants maintain physical fitness and stay active.
Fostering sportsmanship and a friendly atmosphere: Our tournaments are held in the spirit of friendly competition, providing an environment for showcasing skills without pressure or unpleasant rivalry.
Supporting all skill levels: We organize tournaments for players of different groups, from beginners to advanced players, ensuring that everyone feels part of the hockey community.

Participant Skill Level Description
26.04.2025
This tournament is designed for players with beginner to intermediate hockey skills. It’s perfect for those who are just starting out. NOT suitable for professional players or advanced amateur players. It is ideal for players from the Latvian EHL league at the E4 level or below, as well as for mid-level players from the First Tartu Amateur Hockey League.
03.05.2025
This tournament is intended for players from the First Tartu Amateur Hockey League level. Participants are generally players who have been playing hockey for at least 15–20 years, most of whom started as adults. Suitable for amateur hockey players with a solid level of skill. NOT suitable for professional players or players with a long history of high-level performance.
10.05.2025
This tournament is specifically for amateur players aged 50 and older.
17.05.2025
This tournament is designed for players with beginner to intermediate hockey skills. It is suitable for beginners. NOT suitable for professional players or advanced amateur players. Players from the Latvian EHL league at the E4 level or below, as well as mid-level players from the First Tartu Amateur Hockey League, are welcome to participate.
Additional information

All participants, regardless of their placement, will receive a commemorative prize and a case of beer. The top three teams will be awarded cups and medals. Additionally, the three best players of the tournament will be recognized: the best goalkeeper, the best offensive player, and the best defensive player.

A table will be set up for tournament participants where they can make tea and coffee. Drinking water, fruits, biscuits, and sweets will also be available.

After the tournament, the organizer will send you a link to photos taken by a professional sports photographer.
- All matches will be videoed and posted on the Facebook page.
- Competition. The competition requires one player from each team who has the best passing skills.

The tournament organizers are not responsible for lost items. Participants will have access to lockers to store their personal belongings.

Warming up on the ice is allowed three minutes before the start of play in the center zone. The use of a hockey puck is prohibited during warm-ups.
